In a strategic move to bolster their receiving corps, the New York Jets have signed veteran wide receiver Josh Reynolds to a one-year contract worth up to $5 million.
This acquisition reunites Reynolds with offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand, under whom he previously played during his tenure with the Detroit Lions from 2021 to 2023.
Reynolds, 30, brings a wealth of experience to the Jets, having played for multiple NFL teams, including the Los Angeles Rams, Tennessee Titans, Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos, and Jacksonville Jaguars.
Throughout his eight-year career, he has amassed 233 receptions for 3,127 yards and 20 touchdowns over 116 games.
The 2024 season saw Reynolds split his time between the Broncos and the Jaguars. During this period, he recorded 13 catches for 194 yards and one touchdown across nine games.
